This traveling exhibit brings the incredible story of Indianola to life with colorized photos. Find out why she was known as "The Queen City to the West". The exhibit contains 13 - 31.5 x 70.5 X-Banners, along with Sounds, Scents, QR Codes, a video, a small amount of artifacts, signs, floor directional stickers, mosquito netting and fake mosquitos to create an interactive experience. When Hosting:
Invite Community Involvement
We encourage host museums to ask their local communities if they have any Indianola-related artifacts they’re willing to loan. Community contributions not only enrich the exhibit, they also foster personal connections and local pride. Even after the exhibit is installed, consider rearranging or making space for meaningful new additions. This collaborative approach makes each installation more powerful, unique, and deeply rooted in the community it serves.
