Cuero and the Military
| |
Throughout Cuero’s history it’s citizens have made significant contributions to the armed services of the United States. The museum has a rotating exhibit of Cuero’s contributions to various wars and activities of the military. The World War II exhibit features Brayton Field, an Army Air Corp training base and Mr. Ken Towery, a Bataan Death March survivor and Pulitzer Prize winner. This exhibit constantly changes with new stories of war heroes and their sacrifices. Over time the Museum will rotate this exhibit through the different wars.
